Cookie Policy

Last updated: 27 July 2026

Teodor keeps things simple. We only use cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary to make the site work — for example, to keep a signed-in guardian or creator logged in, and to complete a Stripe checkout. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics.

Because everything we use falls under the "strictly necessary" exception in EU rules (ePrivacy Directive and GDPR), we do not show a cookie consent banner. You can still block or clear cookies in your browser at any time.

What we set

Authentication (local storage). When a guardian or creator signs in, our backend provider stores a session token in the browser's local storage so you stay signed in between page loads. Buyers who only browse and check out do not sign in and no auth token is stored.

Session and CSRF (cookies). A small number of first-party cookies are used to protect form submissions and to route requests reliably. These are set only when needed and are removed when your browser session ends.

Stripe checkout. When you open the payment step, Stripe sets its own cookies inside its embedded checkout to run the payment securely and to detect fraud. These are set by Stripe as an independent controller. See stripe.com/cookies-policy for details.

What we don't do

  • No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar third-party analytics.
  • No advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • No cross-site tracking.

Controlling cookies

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary cookies above, the guardian dashboard, creator studio, and checkout may not work correctly, but browsing and buying without an account will still function apart from the payment step.
